Ever since watching an Astrid Lindgren movie as a child (I believe it was "the six bullerby children"), I wanted to collect flowers on midummer night. In sweden, traditionally young people pick bouquets of seven or nine different flowers and put them under their pillow in the hope of dreaming about their future spouse. I never managed to do so until this year, can you believe it? Well, so A and I set out to pick our seven flowers from seven different meadows. Unfortunately, I can't really remember my dreams from this night. I guess I'll have to give it another try next year.

return from preppy town

I really love to look at what people wear when I visit different citys. In this case, streetstyle was mainly very preppy. I usually love preppy style, but it was a little too much for me here. Some outfits I found rather inspiring, though. Sadly I wasn't brave enough to ask for pictures.
Overall I had a wonderful weekend away from home including some dancing, some shopping, relaxing and just a good time with my friends. The weather was - well look at the pictures - but we didn't mind too much.

Like I said I'm so bad at this! I traded
- brown leather flats for grey ruffle leather flats
- flower print maxidress for nude embellished tunic
- coral dress for white lace dress
Decided to stick to one colour scheme.

Anyway, have a wonderful weekend! I'll be back on monday.

well...no really. I suck at packing for any vacation no matter how short it may be. I try to compensate my inability by making a lot of list. It only works sometimes...
So here is my list for a weekend visiting my friend in Düsseldorf:
- black leggings
- chinos
- black tights
- flower print maxidress
- black empire dress made by me
- coral jersey dress
- white T
- blush T
- black T
- black satin longblazer
- grey cardigan
- some scarves
- brown leather flat sandals
- black suede ballet flats
- black heels
- sleepwear
- other stuff like make-up, camera, jewellery, gift, ...
I know it is too much stuff for 2 1/2 days.

Note to self: buy pretty luggage!!
