I've been wanting to learn how to skate and to surf for what seems like forever. This summerI finally decided to give it a shot. I must admit, skating is a lot harder that I thought it would be. And I'm guessing surfing will be even worse.

But so what!

Here's to a summer of bruised legs!

(And maybe, just maybe, in like 10 years I will be as cool as the girl in the 2nd picture)

With my recent obsession for brightly coloured hair it was just about time I discovered hair chalking. All you'll need is artists pastel chalk, a bit of liquid styling product (I used leave-in conditioner) and hairspray. Spray the product on the part of hair you want the chalk to stick, and paint the hair with the chalk. Set with hairspray. It will come all off with the next shower, and as you see it worked quite well on my dark hair.

(And, to be quite honest, a lot easier than that overpriced colour bug I bought)

Said and done

Just when V had convinced me that pink hair is really not that great after all, I found the colour bug. It's essentially a chalk that you put on your hair and that washes out with the next shower.

I'm quite pleased with the look, but not so much with the stay (my neck was bright pink - need I say more?). Maybe I'll have to try it over a product next time...
